Charlotte is a mixed-media artist//art teacher based in Shropshire, UK. Having studied for a degree in Fine Art at Loughborough University Charlotte went on to Birmingham City University to complete a PGCE in Art & Design in 2012 and now teaches Art full time.
'My practice is centered around the notion of balance, whether that be the physicality of balancing objects within space, or aesthetically balancing marks and colours on papers or boards.
My early practice explored these issues through industrial objects, re-contextualised within a gallery or studio space. Somehow copper pipes, breezeblocks, glass sheets and strip lighting became new objects and their original connotations and contexts were removed'.
